“Kozani Differently” (ΚΟΖΑΝΗ ΑΛΛΙΩΣ)

Kozani is the home of photographer Dimitris Vliagoftis. It is a provincial city with a long history and rich tradition, currently seeking to redefine its modern identity and secure a positive outlook for the future.

Dimitris often moves through the city’s narrow, labyrinthine streets due to his profession. A genuine, deep-seated urge prevents him from being a mere spectator of the daily life that flows sometimes fast and sometimes slow. He photographs incessantly. He opens his lens and captures the seemingly insignificant, the essential, the mundane, the unworthy of mention, and sometimes even what might be described as ugly or unsightly. This is KOZANI ALLIOS (A Different Kozani).

These photographs served as the inspiration for a complex, multi-faceted event curated by Christina Matiaki and scheduled to be presented on the weekend of November 8th and 9th, 2025, at the “Kikis” factory. The event is also enriched by the talented Giannis Mitrousis, who will leave the beauties of the metropolis to musically support the exhibition. This is an event with a limited number of seats, and the first weekend is already SOLD OUT!

Those who did not manage to book a seat for this weekend can register their interest to participate in the repeat of the event.
